Fun Memories!

So, I feel like this poor blog is being neglected! I will take this opportunity to say that I love you all! My son, Logan, pulled out my Oakcrest scrapbook the other day. Actually I caught him eating it! Anyway, we were looking through the pictures and I thought it was funny how different I was back then! It was SO long ago! But I have such strong feelings for my dear co-workers! I hope you are all doing well.

I sing many Oakcrest songs to Logan and so far his favorite is "Candle on the Water." He always falls asleep to that one. And he has absolutely no patience for "Chicken!" I can't say that I blame him.

I thought I'd mention one of my favorite memories of our Oakcrest experience...

One night, Bubbles and I wanted to "pea" on Butternut cabin. We were both pretty worn-out. While the girls were scurrying around with all sorts of nervous energy, Bubbs and I were just watching them, hardly even chatting to each other, when Bubbles starts giggling hystarically! When she finally "came to" she pointed out that one of the girls had subconsciously put a pea right in the middle of the name Butternut, making it "Butt_nut." It's amazing how sleep-deprivation can really bring out the 10 year old boy in you! After quickly removing the pea we laughed a good 5 minutes before we could even speak!

Good times! Good times! Does anyone else want to share any fun-filled memories from the beloved summer of '99?

What an amazing day! Moosey looked so beautiful and completely happy. These two are so cute together and are truly in love. Thanks for allowing us to come to your sealing, Moosey! We love you and are so totally thrilled for you, Josef and the kids. You'll be a great wife and mom.

Motherhood is wonderful

I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father who has blessed me with my 3 wonderful children. They really make life great and I am so happy to have them. They are truly a miracle and I wouldn't change anything about them. I thank my Heavenly Father daily for the blessing of being a mother.

My Baby is turning two!

I thought you would like to see this! My sweet little boy is turning two this week. I LOVE being his mommy! I sure have my rough days, and struggle with being a mom, but I am so thankful for his sweet little spirit in my life. I am a better person because of him!
